You may be familiar with the Gorilla Run, a beloved Calgary event that in its 15 years running, has raised close to $100,000 dollars for gorilla conservation, specifically the Dian Fossey Fund and the Bonobo Conservation Initiative. We at Run Calgary have been honoured to steward the Gorilla Run for the last 3 years.
We will continue to support gorilla preservation and conservation for years to come, however with the evolution of the Wild Run we are happy to share the love around the animal kingdom. We look forward to supporting animal conservation with you at the same race you know and love, now called the Wild Run.
