It it's over 15 years running this race, has raised over $100,000 dollars for conservation causes including the Dian Fossey Fund, the Bonobo Conservation Initiative, panda species protection, and locally, protecting the survival of the burrowing owl.

Start Line/Transition Zone located at the Rise on St. Patrick's Island.
•Avoid parking tickets! Please note that runners are responsible for their own parking fees and this in not included in your registration.
•The closest parking lot to the rise is the CPA Calgary Zoo West lot off of Zoo Rd NE. This is an hourly parking lot that requires payment upon your arrival.
