Run Calgary is committed to providing a friendly, respectful environment that reinforces socially responsible behaviour. This means that staff, volunteers, and race participants are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect. Discrimination or harassment is not acceptable at any Run Calgary event. Staff, volunteers, and race participants are expected to treat each other fairly, recognizing and valuing diversity, and ensuring their behaviour is respectful at all times.
Discrimination and Harassment means any inappropriate conduct or comment that would cause a person to be humiliated or intimidated.
Run Calgary staff, and volunteers are expected to stop or report any incidents of discrimination or harassment of which they become aware. Run Calgary staff and volunteers’ failure to comply with the policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and possibly including dismissal.
